Permanent Residency
McConnell Dowell will nominate staff employed on 457 Visas for permanent residency following an initial 3-month probationary period.
Permanent residents are entitled to all government services available to citizens including subsidised health care and education.
Permanent residents may also choose to become Australian citizens entitling them to vote in state and federal elections, stand for parliament and seek Australian consular support whilst outside Australia.
The application process for permanent residency may take up to 9-months.
