Formed in 1989, McConnell Dowell Constructors Thai Ltd (MDCT) has the full capacity to carry out a multi-discipline range of projects on a self perform basis. MDCT has a wealth of local construction knowledge, operates with safety as its No.1 value and is committed to the development of national staff. Supporting our operations is a full plant and equipment fleet and a fabrication facility in Batam.
Thailand has experienced a major increase in activity. We have recently executed the contract for a gas transmission pipeline in the north east of the country, a large mechanical contract to provide pre-shutdown structural steel and piping works, and a contract to provide construction services on a new gas power plant project. Thailand continues to support a maintenance services contract at the Sepon Copper-Gold Mine for LXML in Laos.
